No. of vacancies : Total Twelve Post to be recruitment (6-UR,02-SC,01-ST,3-OBC) .

Age Limit : Maximum 32 yrs.

Salary Scale: Rs. 15600-39100, Grade Pay: Rs.6600/-

Required Qualification : PhD in Geophysics/Physics with theses topic on Electronics (thesis submitted/awarded).

Required Skills :  Preference will be given to candidates with R&D work experience in Earthquake Seismology. Candidates also knowledge of handling seismological software and expertise related to estimation of crustal velocity structure/waveform modelling/Anisotropy studies are desirable.

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected through a written-test.

Application Charges : An application fee of Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) non-refundable is payable in the form of Demand Draft of nationalized bank, payable at SBI, CSIR-NEIST-Jorhat branch code No.5604 with validity of six months in favour“Director, NEIST-Jorhat”. However, candidates belonging to SC /ST, PH and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.
