Selection Procedure: Candidates who desire to apply for the Specialist Officer post in IOB must apply for the post Online. Selection Procedure followed by IOB is different for each set of positions in different grades. The selection procedure is detailed below…

Post Wise Selection Procedure Details:

I. Posts under the Grades Top Management Grade (TMG Scale VI), Senior Management Grade (SMG Scale V) and Middle Management Grade (MMG Scale II) (other than Credit Officer)

a. Selections would be based on Group Discussion and/or Interview for the above mentioned posts.

b. Candidates who obtain the required minimum score in GD and Interview taken together will be selected finally.

c. Minimum marks to be obtained in Interview would be 22.50 for General and 20.00 marks for other candidates.

II. Posts under the Grades  Senior Management Grade (SMG Scale IV) and Middle Management Grade (MMG Scale III)

a. Selections would be based on Written Test, Group Discussion and/or Interview for the above mentioned posts.

b. The brief Written Test will be conducted on the same day when the GD and/or Interview is to be conducted.

c. Minimum marks to be obtained in Interview would be 22.50 for General and 20.00 marks for other candidates.

III. For Credit Officer post under Middle Management Grade (MMG Scale II)

a. Selections would be based on Written Test  and Interview for the above mentioned posts.

b. Written Test would be of 200 marks with 200 questions.

c. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in Interview and Written Test taken together.

d. Minimum marks to be obtained in Interview would be 22.50 for General and 20.00 marks for other candidates.
