Process of Selection : Candidates will be selected through a written-test.
Application Charges : The candidates belonging to General and OBC categories will be required to pay Rs 50/- (Non refundable), as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/IPO or Bank Draft. Bank Draft and IPO should be prepared in favour of Inspector General, (NW) Frontier, ITB Police, Chandigarh and enclosed with application form. No fee will be charged from SC/ST & Ex-servicemen candidates. The candidates opting for CRFS should affix the CRFS at specified space in application form and get them cancelled as well.
Apply Procedure: The eligible and willing candidates should report at the designated recruitment centre on given date and time allotted for their district with duly filled application form, Admit Card and Registration Slip (Annexure-I, II & VII). Following documents shall be required to be produced by the Physical Efficiency Test qualified candidate, in original and one attested photocopy, for verification by the Recruitment Board, just after PET and at the time of detailed medical examination as well. (i) Educational Certificate. (ii) Date of birth certificate (Matriculation or 10th Class certificate or certificate issued by National Open School /National Institute of Open School as proof of date of birth ). (iii) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC Certificate (if belonging to any of these categories) issued by an authority not lower than Tehsildar or SDM. Note:- OBC/SC/ST certificate must be in prescribed proforma as attached at annexure –„III & IV?. (iv) Domicile Certificate issued by local revenue authorities (not lower then Tehsildar) for verification of citizenship / for claiming relaxation in height and chest. (v) Discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen. ( vi) “No Objection Certificate” in case persons serving in Govt./Semi Govt. organization. (b) Four latest passport size photograph and Two self addressed envelopes of 4″X9″ size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope should be brought at the time of recruitment tests. (c) An IPO/DD/CRFS for Rs. 50/- ( Rs fifty only) as application fee by General and OBC category candidates.
