Age Limit: Candidate should born between 01-02-1991 to 31-01-1995 for Navik (GD) post and 01-04-1991 to 31-03-1995 for Navik (DB) post. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules.
Required Qualification: Candidates should possess 10+2 with 60% marks for Navik (GD) post and Matriculate with 60% marks in aggregate from an education board recognized by Central/State Government for Navik (DB) post.
Mode of Selection : Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
Mode of Apply: Candidates must apply online through the website www.joincoastguard.org for Navik (GD) post on or before 30-06-2012 and in prescribed application format for Navik (DB) post on or before 09-07-2012.
Offline mode: Candidates need to send complete Application in the prescribed Performa given in the notification, all the columns in the application should be filled in block capital letters attach, photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name and code of post to be applied for on the envelope and send to the address of the respective Zonal recruitment centres by Ordinary Post on or before 09-07-2012.

Instructions for Online Application:
- Log on to www.joinindiancoastguard.org.
- Click on the ‘I Agree’ button and the ‘Online Application’ will be displayed.
- Check once for errors and click on ‘Submit’ button.
- After Submission of application, candidates are required to print two copies of the application with number generated by the system.
- Both copies of the print out of application duly signed with photograph are to be carried by the applicant to the recruitment centre.
