SAIL Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) invites online applications for the recruitment of Operator cum Technician (OCT) and Attendant cum Technician (ACT) vacancies. SAIL Durgapur Vacancy Details:
1. Operator-cum-Technician (BO): 06 Vacancies
2. Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 113 vacancies
3. Attendant -cum-Technician (Trainee)-Cable Joining: 03 vacancies
Age Limit: The upper age limit for the candidates applying for the post of OCT Boiler Operation would be 30 years and for those applying for remaining two posts would be 28 years as on 01-03-2012. (Age relaxations extended as per Govt. rules).
Required Qualification: Candidates are asked to go through the notification for details of post wise required educational qualification.
Application Fee : Candidates must pay Rs. 250/- for OCT post and Rs. 150/- for ACT posts towards application fee in form of Challan at any branch of SBI in A/C No: “Power Jyoti”- 32336462661 of SBI, Durgapur Main Branch (Branch Code-0074), Durgapur, in favour of ”Steel Authority of india-DSP” on or before 11-07-2012. SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 50/- for either of the posts.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
Apply Procedure : Candidates need to apply online only through SAIL’s website on or before 11-07-2012. After submission of application candidates need to download the Registration Slip for further use.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Candidates would be log on to www.sail.co.in and selects the ‘Careers with Sail’ link at bottom left.
2. Click on jobs at SAIL (or SAIL Cadre & DSP mentioned on left side) and click on job you want to apply.
3. Read all the information regarding the job then click ‘Apply now’.
4. Before registering the application candidate should have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile No, valid for two years and passport size colour photograph as well as photograph of own signature.
5. After submission of application candidate should take print of challan and make payment at any Brach of State Bank of India.
6. Revisit the website using email id and password; enter the Payment Details and upload the photograph and signature at the places provided.
7. After applying online candidate is required to download the system generated registration slip with unique registration number and other essential details.
